I had the same hitch for several years. It will keep you awake when coming to a stop and taking off with the constant "clunking" !
My Dad put many thousands and years on his RBW. His sliding bar actually broke!
Personally I would not put the time or energy into that hitch.
If your truck is set up for the universal mounting rails I would go that route.
