New Truck

I just bought a 2014 F350 Diesel with only 1150 mi. Are the 2014 more reliable than my 2005 Diesel. I know it's a different it's the 6.7 the 05 was the 6.0. Is there anything I should be aware off. Thanks.

  • I had a 2011 F350 (bought 5/2010) traded Oct 2014...Not one single issue...In 2014 got a F450 no issues.

Great truck drive it and enjoy it.
  • The 6.7 is a vast improvement over the 6.0. I have about 55K on mine with no major problems except a blown hose on the turbine. There have been a few reports of fuel system problems but I haven't heard of any new ones in the last year or so. But you need to be careful to buy diesel in a station that has enough turnover so that the fuel isn't sitting in the underground tanks for long periods. Water in the fuel is a certain trouble maker on these high pressure fuel systems.
