"New" Weekend Warrior Toy Haulers

Well dang-it what did he say while I was gone? I wanted to hear what he had to say about the darn GVWR being falsely stated!!

what i'd really love to see is the TH manufacturers starting to build in manual transfer switch with internal inverters so we can run AC appliances or quick connect a solar set up...that'd be a nice bonus for us boondockers!

i love the new look. The interior looks awesome. Not sure how the "white" couches will hold up in the dunes etc but they look nice. LIke the hardwood floors as well.. I have a 08 Ragen Fsc2800 and the floor plans are similar although i wish my front bed was walk around as well. Are the new WW using solid wood cabinets as well? Looks like the new 28'er only has double axle?...that would concern me. I like having the triples.

Anxious to see the new 5vers. Good to see that someone has taken the name and is trying to make it better. Not sure if you guys have been looking at TH 5vers lately but the ones my wife and i looked at have all been 95+K. My msrp on my Ragen was 49K, and although i paid no where near that...its been worth every penny so far.

So you're saying the GVWR "should be" around 12000lbs because the axles are rated for 6000lbs? You're also saying that it isn't though because you made the GVWR 9999lbs because some people might need to get a different license to haul more than 10000lbs? Ok - whatever I suppose I would agree that any toy hauler should have more CCC then what is listed on your spec sheet. :h

BUT - say I get in a wreck and say someone gets injured while I'm weighing in at 12000lbs when the GVWR is right there in ENGLISH listed at 9999lbs then is that going to open me up to real legal liability for busting the trailers listed GVWR - OH YEAH! :E

If something snaps on the trailer while under warranty and I was hauling more than the trailers listed GVWR would it still be covered under warranty? - NO! :(

Is my insurance company going to pay a claim when it is known that I was over the manufacturers listed GVWR by thousands of pounds? Maybe I guess the solution is to lie to the insurance company in the event of a claim. That will solve most of the issues above as well. We'll just lie about it and all is well. :R


This is almost laughable. Is the GVWR sometimes just an arbitrary number? It can be I suppose but the GVWR is posted on the trailer for a reason.

It's too bad because I really like the style of those WW trailers. If I didn't already have a relatively new Desert Fox than I would consider one if the GVWR is more around the 13k area.

Our WW has been better than any Toy hauler any of friends have. I would buy another in a heartbeat.

I like the looks but am not impressed with the specs. On their largest model (comparable to what I have) it lists a 9999lb GTWR with a dry weight of 7250. Add in your water 160 gal @ 1300lbs and other "things" as well as toys and you're over the GTWR.

Love the design on the outside. It has the exact same floor plan that I have now with a larger Fresh tank and smaller gray and black tanks. Overall not impressed by the lack of CCC. Maybe it will be good for someone that doesn't haul anything.

Any dealers in Washington state for these new weekend warriors?
