New York City Rv Parking

Wondering what the traffic is like getting to Liberty Harbor? Would be coming from PA Scranton area. Just wondering if its that hectic crazy NYC type driving? Thinking of going there,but waiting to hear how driving conditions are . Wife has some appointments at Sloan Kettering,last time we drove to Middletown ny and took metro north and stayed in hotel,but considering other options.thanks
