One more thing. I aleays carry an additional step with me. It can be a wooden box thrown together with screws or one of the lightweight plastic fold-up ones. Seems it never fails that the door side is the one I have to put up on blocks to level the trailer. Raising my first step up too high to be comfortable going in or out.
