I do not believe he state if it was a manual slide or auto slide. Sometimes no matter how many times we ask for more information we just do not get it.
So I will try again.
1. Truck Make/Model?
2. Hitch Make/Model? Manual or auto side?
3. Trailer Make/Model? Pin box Make and Model?
With this information we should be able to find someone to help you, which would include info regarding the truck and trailer.
Example we usually do not recommend used 6.0 and 6.4 Powerstroke Diesel models, some year GMs, and RAMs.
