If you look at the Spartan 5th wheels by Primetime (A Forest River Brand), you will find that they give you a lot of bang for your buck. I bought the 1032 model last year and pulled it with a 2013 3/4 ton GMC with Duramax. It has a pretty heavy pin weight so I added air bags and it pulled fantastic. Over the winter I moved up to a new 1 ton GMC with the same set up as my 3/4 ton truck and pulled it for the first time this weekend. I didn't notice any difference between the two trucks.
