Just purchased a new Grand Design Reflection that has nitro filled tires. We didn't have nitro in our previous FW so we're wondering if anyone has had experience using nitro in theirs. Does the pressure stay consistent enough that you don't have to add air? We're wondering about accessibility to nitro. Our vehicle has nitro and the tire pressure stays very consistent which is making our tires wear very well but the dealer also checks the psi when we have it serviced so accessibility to nitro is not a problem there. We're just wondering how difficult it's going to be to maintain nitro only in our FW tires.Phyllis

I forgot to mention that when we got home we found out all of our tires have a cold pressure of only 67psi and the tire manufacturer calls for 80psi so we need to add nitro to all four tires. In fact one of them is down now to 34psi because of a leaky tire pressure sensor we put on after we got home.Phyllis

Air will work fine and it's 78% nitrogen anyway. The N thing is a big phooey.

Regular air is about 80% nitrogen. This has been beat to death numerous times on the forums. If you were a race car driver or a pilot nitrogen can be benefitial. For the other 99% of us regular air is perfectly fine.

Nitrogen fill for RV's and automobiles are a ruse and marketing scam. Race cars benefit because their running temperature are extremes that normal driving will never experience. Air craft benefit because the minimize fire hazard because of lack of oxygen. I defy anyone that can show the physics proving benefit for RV's. Also if you have tires that require 110 psi you will be lucky to find a nitrogen filling station that can supply over 80 psi. So friends don't waste you money paying for nitrogen fill.....

Look on the let front corner of your trailer and use the psi that the tire/loading information indicates.

I always thought Nitro was mixed with gasoline for additional power at the drag strip :)

It is a pain in the butt. You can put air in on top of the nitro and it does not harm anything My opinion nitro is not worth the money

Thats nitromethane and it's tun straight, not with gasoline.
