IF you have 50# water supply pressure and have low flow inside rig then the internal check valve on your city water connection is jammed or the washer/screen in connection is clogged restricting the flow.

Turn off water, disconnect hose and check washer/screen.
If it is clean then problem is with the check valve.

The check valve is just a cheapo plastic junk......a plunger, spring with o-ring held in place with a plastic clip.
If o-ring gets dislodged it won't seal and the plunger can get cocked.

You have to remove city water connection assembly (remove outside screws) and disconnect water line at connection on back.
Then replace whole assembly.

As for your last question in mine when using the pump I always have more pressure and flow than when I use city water. When on city water I use a pressure regulator which reduces the water pressure down. The pump puts out more pressure than the regulated city water does. JMO

Yes as of last night in the dark I had the shore line to the flush input. Corrected this morning after disinfecting all fittings and hose. Hooked up properly now, but pressure in the rig is very low where at the city faucet pressure is 50 psi. with a good flow. When we use the water pump we have a good flow and pressure. City water is the opposite. Must be a restriction somewhere between station and tie in after pump. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

I used to have that same model Montana. You ARE HOOKED to black tank flush! I hope your dump valve is open or you will soon have a gusher. :E

im having somewhat the same problem since it was really cold here too my lines froze but it does sound like something is trying to come out but its just in spurts even if the switch is on if its off nothing comes out period and I stay on the city connection.

That valve you see is the vacuum breaker for the Black Tank Flush and the water you hear is the water going into your black tank. Double and Triple check you connections, they are close together and if I remember right the labels are a little misleading.

Not really.....

There is a backflow preventer in all black tank flushers, so unless the fitting is contaminated, there is no harm. Only way it would be "the dirtiest hookup" is if the user made it that way.
