To be fair, BFG worked with me, as did America's Tire. After one Rugged Terrain threw the tread to the tune of $2k damage to my truck, they replaced that tire. When a second tire had tread separation, I told them I never wanted to see those tires again, and they pro-rated pretty high credit on Michelin replacements. By the time I paid for new road hazard warranty, installation, higher cost of the new tires, and my part of the pro-rating, a new set still cost me over $500. Not to mention the insurance deductible that I had to pay to get my truck bed repaired.
Then within a year, they came out with the recall on those exact tires. That would have got me a complete set at no cost. My case had been closed, so no further help available. I think that was the most annoying thing of it all.
