I've never like the way Fords handled, especially the old Twin I-Beam front suspension. My dad had a custom van in the 80's and it was downright scary to drive. Dad put on several sets of tires and had it aligned umpteen times and it wasn't until he had a flat and took it to a small mom 'n pop shop and told the owner about it that they realized that what is basically a TRUCK had passenger car tires on it. Put on a set of LTs and it was 100% better. Still not great, but much more driveable.
