Just a question.Did NuWa Industries and Peterson Industries merge? The last broad cast I had read was Nuwa was shutting down production in December of last year. This was the last I had read about. I did not see or read anything stating that the two had merged. I did read that they were in discussions. They (NuWa) are on my short list to purchase my FW in the future.Thank YouScott

No, NuWa and Petersen Industries have not merged, at least as of today. NUWA is not taking orders or building new trailers. They are selling several other brands and doing repairs and warranty work at the factory in Chanute, KS. They have an inventory of Hitchhikers in stock, both new and used.NUWA and Petersen did work together on a couple of 5th wheeel trailers but did not go forward with any further production.As Old-Bisquit pointed out try the web site for more info.

Scott NuWa are great trailers and if you have the Young frame that is even a bigger plus. They are heavy and 17.5 rims and tires are much better on the larger ones. They still have service at the factory location. Chris
