OPer here. I have talked to my co-worker and he says he knows he will be over the trucks limits. He is trying to make do for a year till he can upgrade to a F350. He has bought overload springs and 10 ply tires for the truck. I have told him this still doesn't change the ratings of the truck. He says he plans to stay local till he can afford to upgrade the truck. I just hope in the mean time he takes things slow so as to not hurt himself, his family or anyone else on the road.
