Organizing Basement
I'm curious to know what others have done to organize their basements. I dread the the thought of unloading everything just to get that widget out. I understand the concept of putting the most often...

We also use totes. In the front compartment (no genny), all the stuff to quickly set up the campsite, rugs, tables, dogs ex pens. On the campsite side of the basement, the rest of the stuff for the campsite, ez up canopy, BBQ, cook stove, chairs and small tables that hold the gin and tonics. Other side, all the goodies to hook up the 5er, tools, extra parts. The totes work well, I've not wanted to give up the space the sliding drawers take up, the totes slide easily on the carpet and gives me another use for the awning pullout rod...;)
