X2 Exercise pen. If the dogs are small you can get a short one. Depending on how much room you would like them to roam, two or more pens can be hooked together. When I showed Siberians and Corgis, we used them all the time. - MurphsmomExplorerWe use two of the x pens for our dogs, a geriatric Golden and a three legged Lab/Chessie mix. Neither of them are inclined to jump any more, so the 30" pens work well. We hook the two pens together and put the dogs in there the very first thing, even before we set up camp. Works much better than having to keep them in the back seat of the pickup or tied up while we are getting things ready. They are also happier in the pen during their stay at camp than they would be otherwise. The portability of the pens is great for being able to keep the dog area at least partially shaded throughout the day.
- rockhillmanorExplorerAre you wanting to put a kennel outside your RV at a CG or at your home?
For CG's I use expens. Petco carries them.
When dog showing one has to come up with creative ideas on how to get them all on the MH or toad. Here is what I did.
I carry them either on an RV bike rack mounted on the RV bumper , the holes in the expens fit right thru the top of the bike carrier posts. Push them on and they stay snugg against the back pole with one bungee. I can get 2 expens on the RV bumper mount bike rack.
and/or
I carry the expens off the back of the toad on a cargo carrier. How many expens you can put on the cargo carrier is endless! :B - galtgirlExplorerWe have two French Bulldogs. DH has cut one pen down to fit under the steps and we can enclose our patio using a total of 3 pens so the dogs are with us outside and we can open the RV door and let them out without them being able to run off. We have a gate at the end when we want to take them out for walks. Otherwise we can just step over it. We have a lot of room inside the pen and the dogs love being with us without being tied up.
- rockhillmanorExplorerThey make sun shade covers for expens too. They go across the top and clip on with snaps. When the sun moves just move the shade cloth to the side the sun is on. Or you can use it as a top to keep dogs in and prying little kid fingers out.
I bought one like this back in the 70's and still use it today! :C

I also put down a section of thin shade cloth from Lowes 'under' the expens. - cpurvesExplorerwe have two expens but they are a pain to connect and use.
we bought two of these from ebay
doggie fence panels
I'll put the expens along the side of the 5vr, the fences will go out 10' from the 5vr and be 20' long so lots of room for the dogs. - AllworthExplorer IITractor Supply.
- Coach-manExplorerPetsmart has a great collapsable pen for dogs, you can buy more than one and link them if required! They fold flat, I store mine with no problem in my current 25 foot class C, I do not expect any problems when I finally get my 5th wheel.
- 3_dog_nightsExplorerI've gotten about 6 of these things at Yards sales for about 1-2 bucks apiece.
