thanks for the replies....the point for me getting an RV is to move around...when i say im in los angeles, just think Southern California...I'm looking for a more nomadic lifestyle now that working online is very possible...I like the idea of being able to work and have fun, living where i want to.
AS long as you are in a free parking zone street, then there's no reason not to be able to park there, at least for certain hours of every day it is allowed by law.
I have been the victim of having a brusque, abusive homeowner knock on my RV door and attempting to question me as to what I was doing, when parked in a nice residential setting. When I detected his unfriendly tone, I immediately told him that I was legally parked, whereas he cut me off telling me that no, I can't park there. As it was going to escalate from there, I shut the door of the RV, and debated whether I should call 9-1-1 on my cell phone and report the incident and get a police officer out there, to follow up with the man threatening me. This was the first time anything like that happened to me in almost 30 years of RVing.
Know your individual rights as to what is allowed where you decide to park your rig. If you are not breaking any law(s) you will be just fine.
