By doing Sport's math X the pin weight you find it's not much weight. I've only been pulling for 15 years with my hitch 3" behind the rear axle of my diesel PU. The hitch on my crew cab Freightliner M2 is more than a foot behind the rear axle as it's still heavy on the front.
