Pickup bed step

I have a stool that I keep in the back of my truck-been there more than 10 years.Useful for checking the engine conpartment also.

I use my tip toes.

I have used a tire step for years. Works great. Camping World stocks them.

Use plastic 2-step stepstool also

I forgot to add that I sometimes use the milk crate that is intended to store my 50Amp shore power cable. Just flip it upside down. (Easier to do if the cable is NOT in it!)

X2 on the tire-step, that thing is slicker than snail-snot-on-ice! I keep two plastic recycle bins on both sides of my hitch and that folding step sits in the one on the driver's nicely ready when needed also mine is built well enough to support my fat can! Another case of someone finding a perect solution to a problem.

I'm lucky that I'm tall enough not to need one for hookup. I do have wheel to wheel running boards though. And more importantly X2 on the Amp Research Bedstep - best addition to the truck! My knees thank me every time I use it to get into the bed, highly recommended.

We use boxes with a small hole cut in the top for handling. Most are 12 to 16 wide by 26-24 long and 6 to 12 inches deep. I have probably a dozen of them around the home and shop. They are always stable and also stack-able.

Sometimes we need them for an extra step into the 5ver, sometimes a box or two to get into the bed of the truck or a box to reach into the bed. A small rug square on top and the lower ones are something to kneel on. They also can serve as a seat and enough of them as a small table.

A couple of them linked together with a board or two from leveling the fiver will also put the slinky into the air allowing for better drainage.
