Yes, I had this similar problem with my Ram. I have a B&W Companion hitch and have it set in the lowest position. With my truck sitting at factory height it still had my 5er sitting pretty nose high so I had to raise my pinbox up which exposes the back corners of the mounts on the 5er. I had to trim these back corners off to keep from hitting my bed rails. Keep in mind also, I do not have a sliding hitch and my truck is a short bed (6.5') so I am limited to how far I can jack my trailer without hitting the cab so it can happen and not be at an extreme turning angle as some say it is.
OP, this is just something that you will have to take care of when setting up your rig what ever you buy. It's really not truck or trailer specific. When ever you get a new rig take it somewhere like a large parking lot or something and put it through some controlled worst case scenario maneuvers so you can see what you can and can't do and possible adjustments you can make to avoid problems. The only time mine would hit is when the trailer was being backed into a location that was lower than the surface the truck was on. My driveway is this way.
