Please help

I just recently was forced to live in a 1997 THOR Signature 5th Wheel which came with 2 30 lb tanks, where the camper is staying premently is a house type large propane tank is there an adapter or something I can get to just use that propane because right now it's getting colder here in Kansas and I really can't afford every other week to get propane, someone please help me because I'm new at living in a camper.

  • Of course your 30lb bottles may also need re certified but I’m assuming you found a place that doesn’t care.
places like Uhaul or corporate stores generally won’t fill bottles that aren’t current certified but many private places will.

  • Sorry to hear about that, yes you can hook a larger tank to your rv. Google it just like you googled finding this place.
But unless you’re gonna be using someone else’s propane for free, idk what the can’t afford to fill the bottles is all about.
If you don’t have good credit you’ll pay almost as much for bulk LP plus it’ll be COD and a large bill and probably an upfront inspection cost before the supplier will fill. And that’s assuming the large tank doesn’t need to be re certified.
Assuming you’ve never had a home w LP before and haven’t actually run the costs or don’t understand bigger tank doesn’t mean you use it slower.

  • There's a product called extend a stay. Its pretty simple and lots of videos if you google it.
