- fj12ryderExplorer IIII get a kick out of those plastic locks to secure the surge guards. You can put a big ol' padlock on a 10 cent plastic box. Riiiight. :)

Anyone have pictures of how they secure theirs to the pedestal?
If you have the type of power cord that just pushes back into the trailer then you can just hook it up inside your trailer and run an extension cord from there to the pedestal, so its out of site. I think a poster already provided a pic of that.
If you have the screw on type to the side of the camper (I do) then it just hangs from the pedestal..I have had no problems with theft
I don't think there is a way to actually safeguard it to the power pole, but they do make these, click here. The ends of the power cord and the RV surge protector both go inside the box. It comes in 2 halves. Put the other half and pad lock them together. The idea is, no once can walk away with anything unless they break the box or cut the cable. I think it would be just as quick and easy to simply unplug the surge protector and then cut the cable running to the camper. (here you loose twice... the protector and a repair on your 30 or 50 amp cord.
Hope this helps. - austinjennaExplorer

- scottykrugExplorerHave the 30 amp TRC with no issues. Have used it for over six years (on two campers). Has caught improperly wired pedestals a couple of times.
- AllworthExplorer IIWhen the output socket went bad on my 50Amp Progressive, I had a brand new (improved) one within a week. No questions asked.
