I don't want any sub par LT/E Chinese tires on my trailer.
My Bridgestone R250's are incredibly heavy duty with bead to bead twin metal belts and over an inch thick rubber in the sidewalls. They're so much beefier than my LT/E Toyo Open Country tires on the tow vehicle. Bridgestones are also less expensive than the Michelins and much cheaper than the Goodyear G614's.
The manager at Costco said many work trucks using R250's see incredible mileage out of them--like 150,000 miles before replacement. And he cannot recall having the first R250 have a warranty claim.
Just for the record, steel belts run around the perimeter of a tire and casing plies run from bead to bead. And no the sidewalls are not over an inch thick. Chris
