My new Montana being built next week has the Goodyear 614's being put on at the factory. I feel much better now after reading how good they are.
And it has been a long time coming! When enough people start demanding high quality tires, sooner or later they start to listen.
Efforts of the Cardinal Club has yielded similar results in the last couple years for Cardinal 5th wheels.
Grand Design should think seriously about getting on this tire band wagon if they want to be a up scale manufacturer. Yeah, and find rear caps for Solitude's! Chris
So Chris, guess HR was way ahead of the game when my 06" HR came with the GY G614's on it? :)....
I also looked at a Fuzion TH, (3 axle) and it had Sailun S637's on it...another Fuzion though had some "unkown" name, to me on it...but if I see Sailun G rated tires showing up on 5er's I'll figure the manufacturer is still paying less for the tires, BUT, would have no issue, at this point in time with Sailun S637's coming on a 5er I was to purchase.
That Fuzion probably had those Sailuns put on it when it got to the dealer. My '12 Fuzion 399 came with some tires that I didn't particularly didn't like,...so I swapped them with my 1 year old G947s. They're an E load range tire, but they have the qualities of a commercial tire. My next set of tires will be the Sailuns though. My wheels are strong enough to handle them, and all that will be needed is to change the valve stems.
