Primetime 5th wheels big problems

I agree with above. Retain an attorney and have them send letter of intent. Once a lawyer is involved wheels will start turning.
I doubt it will be 500-1k. Most will want 2-3k for x number of hrs litigation time up front.

Oh and I would refrain from talking about it further on here until you get the advice of the attorney. Not usually good to talk about pending litigation.

I'm very sorry this happened to you. I hope you get it resolved to your satisfaction.

After reading this everyone should check their suspension and make sure everything is tight. Took my previous 5er to a trailer shop for alignment. Got back home, started looking and the trailer shop left some nuts loose. Found the axle had shifted slightly. Back to the trailer shop. I now routinely check all fasteners on my rig.

I almost omitted Dexter from my post above for the same reasons, but then I thought to include them simply because their is a chance that some component of the axle (hub assembly, brake drum, etc.) might have failed and ultimately contributed to the problem. I'd tend to agree that they're the least of the entities that I'd expect to be at fault, but with the limited information we have, no reason for me to exclude them.

It's the "spaghetti" approach; go after everyone and see what sticks. :B Actually, if Dexter starts feeling the heat, they may tell Prime Time to get this settled as it's not Dexter's fault. :B

Yes, I figured Lippert too, the welds are terrible. My 14-year-old son could weld circles around them. Lippert also only has something like 6 mobile techs to service the whole country. So whoever came out the first time was probably too tired to bend down and look. So now they are going to send a repair tech out on September 13th to repair the frame. I am not sure I want a trailer back that had a bent frame. How are they going to fix it? The axles are there already, but I am pretty sure that Bobby Comb's hasn't ordered the fender, floor, electric, and heating parts that it will need. So even after the frame gets fixed it will probably be there when Christmas comes. I asked that they empty the tanks back in June but I doubt that happened. When we went out to retrieve all our belongings the room was half out, battery dead and the tires and leaf springs and parts were all thrown into the living room. The self-leveling jacks I paid for are also totaled by the tow truck driver. I have called Primetime till I am blue in the face and they don't answer the phone. Forest River who owns them doesn't care either, they just tell me to call Primetime. Lippert had nothing positive to say either except I was lucky they were going to come and fix it. They didn't fix it the first time because they have to have authorization from Primetime. But Primetime isn't paying for the repairs. Dexter said they would only pay for the repairs and that is it. No lost time, no lost trips, nothing for anything extra. They also told me I was lucky they were paying because as per my information I got with the trailer about Dexter Axles, I should have checked all the parts on the axle.
