I've never used the propane quick disconnects for my COLEMAN ROAD TRIP grille but have heard the propane pressure straight from the tanks is a problem with my grille without doing something... Maybe someone one here knows what you have to do to make that work...
I don't think you can just hookup to the RV Trailer Propane tank for most of the standalone grills like Coleman and Webber... ???
For me the 1lb propane canisters are perfect to use. I have to always have a couple of those canisters on hand for my back up PLAN B heat source so I usually have a six pack of those on hand...
