Hi all, just wondering if anyone has any experience with Propex heaters. After watching the batteries deplete last weekend while the temperature also dropped, it's time to start looking at alternatives to the pig of a propane heater in my unit.
I have looked at the catalytic heaters, but they are not certified in Canada for use inside RV's, etc.
The Propex units have continuous draw of 1.4 amps. That's a lot less than my current Attwood or whatever it is at 5.1 amps.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

The only concerns I would have with the propex is their heat output. A typical RV furnace has about 25,000 to 35,000 btus of heat. The propex units (looking at the big one) only has 10,000 btu's. It also only flows 85 cfm, unfortunately I don't know what the average CFM rating would be for an RV furnace, I can't seem to find that spec anywhere.
