I forgot to clarify that this is just for emergency bugging out in the event of a wildfire. I definitely plan on getting 6 new, radial Load Range E rated tires, but just in case i have to bug out (I am in Southern California in the Mojave desert), i was wondering what i should do with the convoluted combo that came with pit when I bought it.
Some of the tires are LT, some are ST. I am one of those people who insist on buying all new including spare) tires to match, but i have just had the toyhauler parked, living in it full time. I am getting it treads to bug out for natural disasters. It was on the road last summer, and i had it weighed with all my belongings and full tanks. It’s rated for 15K, but will never, ever exceed 11,000. It weighs 9,300 lbs full with all my belongings. I want tires though that are rated for the max weight that the trailer is rated for, just to be safe rather than sorry.
