pulling rig for WW SLC 3905

Just joined site after purchase of a 07 Weekend Warrior slc 3905. Used my 04 ram2500 to get some dry weights, pin 3,100 tri axle 9000 for a total of 12100lbs. Will be used for short hops of 150 miles round trip. Loaded with Teryx 2 sxs, water, food ect. for 2 adults for 4 day dry camping trips. So looking for a newer truck to stay as safe and close to legal as possible. Unable to look at new and would like to stay srw. Leaning towards 08/09 f-350 6.4l. I find different numbers everywhere I look. Any suggestions or advice appreciated.
  • You'll be happy to know I have decided on a 2007 GMC Sierra 3500 HD Duramax SLT but will have to wait until spring to try the combo.

Dually territory for that trailer for sure. 08-10 F450 would be perfect.

  • Use to pull around 13k with an 09 350 srw and it was great. The motor has a ton of power and the truck handled the weight great.
