Pulsating lights

We are new RV'ers and have been using our 5th wheel in the backyard. It's hooked up to a 30amp power. Recently the lights starting pulsating and I'm not sure why. Also, things that we've turned on before that use more power, like the heat or electric fireplace, now shut everything down. Does this mean I need a new converter? Thanks in advance for any answers our way!

This. If it's not the battery then that is the classic symptom of a failing converter.
  • Are the lights 12 or 120 volt? If they are 120 they have nothing to do with the battery or converter.

The fireplace is 120 volt, so it has nothing to so with the battery or converter.
  • Check for loose wires and loose grounds. If this does not clear it up, you may have a power converter going bad. Check the voltage at the converter output.

  • Check battery first. Most things depend on a good battery even if plugged into shore power.
  • it could be several things from loose wires to a bad battery to a bad converter to low voltage at the plug you need a voltmeter and check the output of the converter and yourline voltage
