R beer roof repair
We got a tear on side of rubber roof from tree. How can we patch. Someone said don't us silicone. We have a heartland fifth wheel

You might want to start a new thread and include photos, with something to show the scale/size of the damaged area, if possible. It sounds like it might actually be two problems:
1) cleaning up the phony fix
2) fixing it right/better
