Not sure if mine qualifies as late model (probably not) in the eyes of OP ... but I love my truck and I'm the original owner. In 83K miles I have replaced the water pump, fuel pump (in-tank upgrade) and AC compressor (plus regular maintenance items). I also added a PacBrake which no one should be without who tows more than 10K Lbs or so.
My needs have changed since purchase when maneuverability and economy were priorities. Now it's mostly a towing machine. Were I to do it over again, I would have opted for the long bed and 4:10 gears.
