In that case then you are not going to get what Ram fully offers. The Manual transmission trucks are tuned down quite a bit. Still plenty of power but IMO the reason to go new is to get the latest technology. Believe me I love driving a standard just as much as the next guy and know how to use them for their advantages. Ain't nothing no better than running an 18 speed with the top two flopped but the Autos in the pick-up do very well. You can also manually shift them if you feel the need.
