The first set of tow mirrors I ever had were on our '4 Ford pickup. Camper Special mirrors was what they were called. You had to take a 9/16 wrench to swing them in and out. They were great until. Then bought a '84 Dodge passenger van. Mickey moused the mirrors to tow with, worked OK but. Then Bought a '95 Dodge PU that had the regular mirrors and worked them over. Then got our '03 dually with the tow mirrors. This is when until kicks in, nothing like them. Now we have a long fiver and I want to see the area and vehicles behind me to best of my ability. Any Dodge dealer that orders a 2500 and up Ram that doesn't order the tow mirrors should be de-franchised now! And Ram should make them standard. I had a telephone truck, a 1988 F-450 Ford with a small utility bed on it. It came with the Camper Special mirrors on it and they never were turned in. Do us a favor and more importantly, other motorists, and turn those suckers out when towing!
