Flipped up for towing ,otherwise down. Ram needs to learn how to design mirrors like the ford mirrors. Having had both ford ,and Ram the ford are by far the better mirrors. IMO the Ram mirrors in the down position are distracting with the little mirror on the side instead of the bottom where its at when we flip up the mirrors . Ram mirrors are much more functional flipped up, but as said they look a bit dorky ruining empty, but to each his own.
