- JJnLillyExplorerAlways flip them. Just can't see how a driver can see the area behind when towing and the mirrors not flipped.
- buckyExplorer IIFlipped up, plus I can see the 5er tires with a little wiggle when no other traffic is around me.
- RustyJCExplorerNo question about it in my case - with a 102" wide RV, the mirrors are flipped up to their towing position.
Rusty - mtofell1ExplorerI flipped mine once and didn't notice that much of a difference so they haven't moved since. TT is a 26' - truck is a 2014 HD SRW CC SB. In their normal position they are set out from the truck quite a bit and provide plenty of visibility for me. YMMV.
- CalicajunExplorerFlip mine up when every I tow. Set Mirror memory one for the down position and memory two for the flip up position.

I flip them for towing cause I can see down the sides of truck/trailer and behind trailer.
Then I flip then back when not towing cause truck looks really stupid with 'dumbo ears' sticking out.
Yeah, what he said. - goducks10Explorer

x2 on the towing
x10 on the looking stupid part. - Old-BiscuitExplorer IIII flip them for towing cause I can see down the sides of truck/trailer and behind trailer.

X1, I would not tow without the mirrors flipped out especially when passing other cars, 18 wheel trucks and making right/left turns that have tight corners. - chrizgExplorerMine stay flipped up always, but it is not a daily driver
