After talking about noise from our 5th wheel hitches, I did some snooping around my hitch. The head seems tight, the jaws tight on the kingpin, but the entire hitch can be moved a bit because the leg pegs are "loose" in the rails.
If there was a way to get the pins to not slop around, I wonder if some or all of my remaining chucking would disappear?

they make a rubber pad that goes under the hitch foot at the rail to take up the slack.. works great for me.
Can you give me any reference to these? Not having much luck with google.
