ready for a better hitch...B&W or Anderson Ultimate

Gkainz, the bed deflection issue only really cropped up 2-3 years ago, when all the mfrs lightened up the steel in their beds. The ribs in the bed were being crushed/dented from the fore/aft loading of the Companion base. They were very quick to come up with a solution and, IIRC, sent it out free to the original owners. The extra base area provided by the "fix", stopped the problem.
