Look, no amount of logic or reason is going to convince the B&W fanboys to switch to an Anderson. Just ain't gonna happen!! Personally, I have a B&W goosball in my truck right now, best goose on the market and I wouldn't put another kind in on a bet. Guess that makes me a bit of a fanboy too!
What I also am is a fan of the Anderson. I watched a Reese come apart in my driveway and after considering the limitations my FIL has with his 5er we went to the steel Anderson with the rail mounts. That thing tow awesome now! Eliminated all of the horrible motion he was having with his Reese. Now he is able to remove the Anderson by himself where he couldn't with the Reese. He is also able to turn about 88 deg. where he was hitting his C pillars before. Now he has plenty of room. It was a HUGE help for him!!
All this crash nonsense is just that, NONSENSE!! NOt a single one of you guys know's what a hitch is going to do in a crash! There are no tests out there. You can speculate all day long but it is just that! If you are stopping so fast that your trailer comes through the back window there are a lot of other things that are going on too!! Most of which are going to kill you anyway.

X2 still waiting on real evidence that my Andersen will destroy my fiver's frame as well. Or a dented box floor from a properly installed Andersen?
