Rear axel brakes hot??

Date is 2314. I own a trailer repair business so went through it all when we bought it in spring. Greased all bearings then and trailer rides level.
So am puzzled by this. Last pulls was a month ago and not hot wheels then or till near the end of our destination now.

If trailer is nose high, then rear axle carrying more weight and doing more of the stopping, hence hotter. Or it could be dry bearings instead.

Defiantly a g designation. 110 psi on side wall. Valve stem blew. Wrong one installed.
Other issue. Hot rear wheels. I thought maybe they were getting steady current but I jacked them off the ground while hooked to truck and spun them. No drag from brakes?

Is it possible that the whole wheel can get hot with just a quarter mile of braking?

DOT code is 12 digits

First 4 ....Tire ID No
Next 4 .....Tire Size Code
Next 4 .....Week/Year Tire Mfg (this is the 4 digits you are looking for)

DOT OUKL will be on both sides of tire
DOT OUKL PLUS the other digits will be ONLY on one side

Typically on inside sidewall.
Crawl under and check it out.

Looks do NOT determine IF tire is good.
RV Trailer Tires do NOT wear out they AGE out

Tires good. Blew valve stem. Low pressure valve stem on a high pressure tire!!?
