Rear Camera

Hi Everyone, I wanted to get some info from you about rear view cameras. I want to tow my side x side on a trailer behind my fiver and want to get a camera that will have viewing on all the time so I can keep an eye on what's going on back there. what are you guys using? thank you for your input.

I've had good luck with this: Clickage

    What's a side x side?

    Razr's,rangers,Gators,ect...multi person off-road toys.
  • I use this system on mine.

    Camera system

I set the monitor on a cigarette holding cup, in one of the 4 cup holders in the truck.

I let the wife monitor it as I don't want to be distracted by it.

    Works excellent.

I have a write up on installing it in the truck here.
    Look for Wingedone
  • We tow a small trailer w/ two atv's and have this system....

    Wireless Camera

It works very well and it sure is a comfort to be able to see your trailer.

Ryeguy check out the link below from Camping World pricy but works great more than covers the distance no interference as it connects digitally which means no interference.

  • I knew I could count on rv net people!Thank you for the great info, now a decision
  • You people are great thank you for all the great information now I have to decide which one,HMMMM
  • I have had a wireless "Peak" rear view camera that is mounted by a spring clamp to my rear widow valance inside and I can monitor the traffic behind me and if I was towing something it would work well for that also. It has a 7" screen and works great. I ordered a extra 15 ft. cable so I could mount the transmitter in the front closet and have never had a problem with getting a image of the rear view. I've had this unit for about 4 years and still works perfect and have less than $150.00 invested.
I do not think it helps much for backing but sure is a good monitor for what is happening behind you.
