Rear fiberglass cap

We just ordered a Columbus 320 & did not order the rear cap. I think they look great but other than aesthetics, is there a true benefit? I would appreciate your thoughts...

I've never considered a cap to be optional either. To op, are you referring to the (usually) fiberglass front exterior or back exterior wall? Could be aluminum too.

    ...yep, remember the movie...Paul Newman:)...
  • The molded rear cap might provide better aerodynamics but I would think the benefits would be negligible. They do look nicer.

  • Figured they all come with a front and rear cap...didn't know you could order a rear cap:h If the 5er has a "finished back end with seams in it, that is the rear end cap.....or maybe I'm completely misunderstanding your question.
