Has anyone bought the Lambright recliners? The ones we're considering have the option of interior handles.
The DW and I have 2 of these in our FW (rear living) and love them. The original recliners were fabric rocker and swivel type but had to be pulled away from the rear wall so that they would recline without hitting. After 4 years of use and PITA swiveling and hitting the side walls we decided to get rid of them and sold them to a college student for $50 ea. We called Mr. Lambright in Shipshewana, Indiana and asked for some samples of the materials used and the colors. There was a certain range of colors and textures that we were interested in so those were the samples he mailed to us. The samples not only showed colors but the different grain of the faux leather. The recliners were constructed to our specification and when they were ready Mr. Lambright called and we hooked up the FW and made a trip to Shipshewana to pick them up. The color we chose was perfect and like noted in the quote, the wooden armrests were red mahogany to match the interior wood of the FW. A bit on the pricy side but they are very comfortable. They don't rock but do swivel and the backs only require approximately 2" of clearance from the wall when upright to be able to clear when reclining. For traveling we only swing them both to sideways to clear the slides. (the living room has slides on each side)
The Lambright's are Amish and very good people to deal with.
Incidentally, there are 6 of us couples that travel together and 4 of those couples and us have purchased Lambright swivel recliners for their FW's. That must say something.
