LOL!...we actually stepped BACK...we had a Chevy C4500 (which we bought when our old 98 Dodge 1 ton DRW couldn't handle the Bighorn)...however, the only thing that was rated higher than our 2011 1-ton was the rear axle capacity. It could handle 13K on the rear axle...but only could tow a 19K fiver with a GCWR of 26K.
The new Chevy can handle a 20.5K fiver and has a GCWR of 29.2K...rear axle capacity of 9,375...the difference is this rides like a Cadillac and still gets the job done!
