Whether true or spam the message to anyone reading this is ALWAYS do complete walk through before you take delivery of any TT. Try everything, make them fill all tanks and drain after you test, etc etc etc..
If something like the trim being torn off happens you can cancel the deal right then and there or demand a new unit.
