Reese Goose Box Actual Dimensions

In my ongoing saga to level my trailer tow with my current TV, I've hit a roadblock and actually gone backwards. I installed the Equa-Flex equalizers (tall size) and while they actually are taller than the factory equalizer (EQ310), the trailer actually lost about 1" when the weight spread the eyelets out. But we just came off a 1000 (+/-) mile roundtrip and it towed pretty well.

Anyway, my curiosity has peaked at the Goose Box, but actual dimensional information of the ball-head is limited at best. It is a sure bet, though, to level out my rig based on the height dimensions.

Is there anyone out there who would be willing to offer up some real measurements of their Goose Box if I gave you the parameters I'm looking for? I have a recessed ball and am a little concerned that it will hit the sides of the recessed walls when turning.

Sure. I can measure mine this evening.

Thanks, I'll send you a PM before the end of the day with the requested information.
  • I can't recommend the Goosebox.
Had to fill the airbag after almost every tow as it's 45 or 50 PSI (?) pressure relief valve "puffs" out the air in it over every bump...
And refilling means getting the compressor going and VERY slowly refilling the bag through the very small hose - very time consuming.
Also they suggest you grease the coupler for every tow, really? I want to get out my grease gun every trip to use on their grease zirk?
Finally, in less than a year of use, it failed to protect my Lippert Frame "as promised" and I had a cracked front Pinbox Box Beam. That also distorted the Goosebox making it unusable and Reese wouldn't honor their warranty enough to send me a new one.
I have successfully towed with the Star Performance Kingpin adapter before and after trying the GOOSEBOX.
