I need to leave my 5th/W in storage for a week, If I shut the batteries off will the ref. still run on propane. Need to turn off the batteries so the carbon monoxide don't kill them.. Has anyone done that before.

Short answer, nope. If I turned the battery disconnect off on our Montana the fridge died even on propane. YMMV.Dan

On propane the refer still needs 12vdc.

Assuming you meant that as a question and not a statement, no, it wont work without 12V.

Carbon monoxide isn’t going to hurt your batteries.

Do you mean the carbon monoxide detectors? If that’s your worry unplug it. Carbon monoxide only kills things that breath.
