Removable Hitch Hole Covers

I have the Ford drop in bedliner. When I cut the holes for the Super Fifth I screwed the liner cut outs to the top of 1" dowel and drop in the holes. Pullrite trades your pins for longer ones for liners.

Dodge has two drain holes at the back of the bed - which are actually in the bottom of the rear bed 'wall' behind the cab.

They are somewhat oval -rather than round- but should be available at
a Dodge parts counter (probably way more $ than some other solution).
A bit of trimming and they should fit.

A stroll thru Lowe's or HD should yield something that would work.

BTW - I have a PR SG -with the four holes- and for me, they're just four "drain holes" when the hitch is not in the bed..:C

If you put a rubber bed matt down, do you have to get taller posts, or will the regular posts work? I don't want to impair the functionality of the super rail system. I don't have the kit yet, it's on order from Tweetys. Thanks in advance!

Just ordered a super rail kit for my 2013 dodge 2500. Bought a 18K model 4400 on Craigslist, so I realize now, what to do about the holes.... I contacted Pullrite, they weren't too concerned... any body got any experience with the super rail system and how to plug the holes? thanks

I used some plugs that I got at Home Depot. They came with a bolt that would expand the rubber when tightened. If I can remember correctly, they were in the plumbing dept. If not there, ask a worker.

I installed a rubber bed mat under the hitch rails. Then I made four 3 sided cuts where the pins stick up. So when the hitch is in the bed, the pins stick up through the flaps in the bed mat. When the hitch and pins come out, the 4 pin flaps close and you cannot see any evidence that the bed has holes in it.

In the winter time, I stick Gorilla tape over the holes to keep the moisture from coming through.

My first thought was tub drain stoppers. But it's not going to let you slide anything over top of it.

Did you ask Pullrite? I seem to remember reading that the hitch came with pucks to cover the holes.

How about large carriage bolts (the ones with rounded heads) and large fender washers.

If you have some rubber sheet you could probably fabricate a working plug with rubber cement. Make the top part bigger--the diameter of the hole on top and then glue on several thicknesses below that to fix in the hole.
