Removal of couch in toy hauler?

I am a newbie to RVing and beginning the search for a fifth wheel toy hauler to try full-timing. I don't have toys (I'm going to use the garage for business purposes) and I'm not a guy so I'm looking for a floor plan and decor that is a bit less of a "man cave" party place and more suited to everyday living. I've found a couple floor plans that are pretty close to what I would want and include a few important features (big kitchen, patio, w/d prep in the garage), but the giant couches are just too much. So... my question is, what is the feasibility of removing the giant couch and replacing it with something else (perhaps a small couch and dinette - space allowing)?

Also, if anybody has recommendations for TH's with floor plans that I should take a look at, feel free to lob them at me. Thanks!

  • Our 2015 Momentum 380TH has a double love seat recliner and a table/4 chair dinette. It was the most livable TH we found for full timing. However, the W/D prep is in the bedroom closet rather than the garage. The other plus to us is that the garage is only 10', so we kept almost 33' of finished living space.
  • When we were looking to replace our couch with something else - we found that it was screwed directly to the wall - from the outside in!

So before you buy something, make sure it can be moved and fits thru the doorway!
  • We have a 2013 Keystone Fuzion 310. Just today we removed the couch that came in it which was unbelievably simple to do. 4 scores held the 3 pieces together and it just came right out. Replaced it with a 3 seat couch with recliners on each end with a fold down center console. Much much more comfortable.
We like the floor plan and its just the right size for us at just under 36'.
