Have you called either Grand Design or Lippert customer service? You should be able to get either complete replacement, or a reduced cost replacement. What does your trailer weigh? You need to hitch up, as if you are going camping, and go to a weigh station, and get exact numbers. The cost of the 7K vs 8K axels is small, the cost to change them would be the same. If I were paying, I would go for the 8K axels, just for insurance. Also, while you are at it, look into disk brakes at the same time! Good Luck.
