Contemplating moving up in a couple of years so I am doing my due dillegence now. What would you consider the most popular ( ie re-sale) size and type of toy hauler? I have heard somewhere that 35' BP's have a very limited market yet I see a lot manufacturers still build them. I want something in the 35-39' overall range. I like the idea of not giving up my bed with a BP. Lots of pros and cons to each. TV will be a 3500 CTD so that will not be an issue either way.

You're going to take a hit in the pocketbook no matter what but I believe a 5er at that length would have a better chance of selling than a BP.

I'm not sure what the most popular size is.. or why that has any bearing on what you're buying.

Choose the FLOOR plan that makes sense for you. Look at and go inside LOTS of them. Get a feel for what will work.. for you.

This. But I do think for that length, a 5th wheel probably is a better idea generally. But I'm biased as we hated towing our 32' bumper pull toy hauler and love the 38' fiver :)

you better buy what trailer the wife likes and worry about everything else after!

Now with that said my buddy bought a 36' bumper pull fusion toy hauler, its really nice but his wife is driving him nuts as she wants a 5th wheel with a real bedroom. I can tell you this is my first 5th wheel after years of bumper pulls and I wont go back unless we dramatically down size.

I agree with everyone on here. By what you like and need. Don't based on resale value. When I bought used, I bought what I wanted/need.

Personally I wouldn't own a bumper pull over 30ft...but thats just me.

Buy whatever fits your needs and what your truck will handle...if you have a SRW then you probably need to stay 16K GVWR or under on a 5th wheel toy hauler. If you have a dually then you could easily get into the 40ft plus but ultimately you have to have a floor plan that works for you! Just my thoughts.
